We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data in line with the Personal Data Protection Law of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its implementing regulations. This page explains what data we collect, why, where we store it, and your full rights over it. This English version is a translation for convenience; if there is any difference, the Arabic version applies.

1. What data we collect

• When you sign up with email: your email address and an encrypted password.
• When you sign in with Google: your email address and the basic profile info Google shares (name and photo). We never see your Google password.
• When you buy: the package type, amount paid, transaction date, and its status (for accounting records and technical support only — we never store your card details in any form; that part is handled directly by the payment gateway).
• Your balance: the number of games left on your account, updated automatically after every purchase or hosted session.
• When you join a session without an account: we create a temporary "guest account" with no email or personal data, to confirm you're a member of the session. It's deleted automatically after 7 days.
• When you play: the name you type in the room and the emoji you pick (temporary — gone when the session ends). On our server we temporarily keep: the session code and who joined it (deleted a day after it ends), the secret roles and night choices in Mafia (so no one can cheat), and a log of games played (game type and time) for internal statistics.
• When you use AI features: the topic you type (e.g. a quiz topic) is sent to our AI provider to generate the content, and we count requests per account to protect the service from overuse.
• Visitor counter: your browser gets a random ID (not linked to your name or email), recorded with the page and visit time so we know how many people are on the site. Deleted after 120 days.

2. Why we collect this data

• To create your account and log you in securely.
• To track your game balance and link it to your purchases.
• To contact you about your account or purchases when needed.
• To improve the site and fix technical errors.
• To protect sessions from unauthorized access and cheating, and the service from abuse.

We don't use your data for any other commercial purpose (such as targeted advertising) without your explicit prior consent.

3. Where we store your data

We use a cloud database provider to store user accounts, purchase records, and balances. Your data is protected by strict access rules (Row Level Security) that prevent anyone from reaching other people's data, even at the database level.

We rely on trusted technical service providers to run the site (hosting, database, payment gateway, email delivery, and AI), and each provider receives only what it needs to perform its service.

4. How long we keep data

• Your account and purchases: as long as your account exists, or until you ask us to delete it (subject to any financial records the law requires us to keep).
• Accounts that never confirm their email and never buy: deleted automatically after 7 days.
• Guest accounts: 7 days. Session data: one day after it ends. Visitor counter: 120 days.

5. Your full rights over your data

Under the Personal Data Protection Law, you have the full right, at any time, to:

• Access: request a copy of all the data we hold about you.
• Correction: request correction of any inaccurate data.
• Deletion: request permanent deletion of your account and all data linked to it.
• Withdraw consent: stop the processing of your data at any time (this closes your account).
• File a complaint: with SDAIA if you believe your rights weren't respected.

6. Data security

We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS) for all communication between your device and our servers, and passwords are stored fully encrypted — no one on our team can see them in plain text.

7. Cookies

We only use your browser's local storage to run the site: keeping you logged in, remembering your name and emoji in rooms, your language, the random visitor-counter ID, and whether you've already seen the Instagram prompt. We don't use any advertising trackers and we never sell your data.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify you of any significant change by email or with a notice on the site.
